This is really important. Sometimes even when we are more mature in our relationship with God we are tempted to bargain just to get the chance to give them the Gospel. It's a difficult task, learning how to be in one's life without being of it. But for new believers, it's best that they take the time away, like you said, and FIND A MENTOR! Good stuff, Demian. My prayer though is that the new believer will be overwhelmed by the gospel and the goodness of God so that he will be bold when going back to tell him friends about the change in his life.
