Puberty?

I think good spouses usually start as good friendships. If both are mature, they will see this is very important. I married my best friend and it sounds like you did too.

How I won her...I'm hot.
How I keep her...I'm hot.
J/K.......................or am I?

I think I married a very practical woman. She appreciated me having gas money to drive the 30 miles early in our relationship to see her more than the flowers I could have bought her. Since we were friends for a year before we started seeing each other, Most of the time spent prior to dating was just spent being around each other, NOT wooing. I guess it just comes down to being genuine, if that makes any sense.

We have been together for nearly nine years now. We are just as loving and playful with each other as when we first started dating. We have great communication; a true partnership beyond any relationship I had when I was younger. As far as continually wooing her, I still do everything I did when we first started dating. I remain a gentleman instead of ACTING like a gentleman.

Don't let the Trolls on the Internet get you down. They are likely still in an early stage of manhood, a transition stage if you will, that we all go through and hopefully outgrow. You know the stage I mean...(wink wink)

LOL! I couldn't resist. Maybe I should repent.

But seriously, I usually tell her how much she means to me and our family. I will play with her hair and cancel my plans so that she can have fun with her friends. I suck at opening doors.

I think you may have taken most of the good ones. Not bad for a "yet to be married" guy!

Maybe by the time I am finished writing this comment, someone who is actually married will have gone first...

I like writing the completely out of the blue love notes, or the completely unexpected gift (host of ways to do that). It's like giving a birthday gift, minus the obligation. Which seems to make it a lot more heartfelt and meaningful. "I remembered you when I didn't have to. I am showing you how much you mean to me when there was no expectation."
