No, I am not spreading heresy.
Our little church (Church of the Broken) has been going through the Acts 29 Network application process for some time now. It is a pretty intense process that requires almost as much paper-writing as I did in college. Almost. I have been blessed to get a phone interview and assessment spot on pretty short notice. This excites me a lot. While excited, I know we need a lot of prayer in this process as well. If you could, please pray for us as we (my wife and I) will be assessed next Thursday in Louisville. We need God to provide us with a safe trip (both of our cars have higher miles) and wisdom and humility during the actual assessment.
What is Acts 29 anyway?
Acts 29 is a network of churches started out of Mars Hill Church (Seattle). From their own vision; “Acts 29 is a network of pastors from around the nation and world whose dream is to help qualified leaders called by God to plant new churches and replant declining churches.”
They have a massive vision of planting 1000 churches in the next ten years. We hope to become apart of their mission. If you want to read more about them, check out their site here.
What we still have to do to complete the process.
I have a phone interview (should be scheduled for Friday) and then the formal assessment followed by a covenant agreement and background check. Provided all goes well with these, I need 40 committed adults to launch our church. If you would, please prayerfully consider joining us (provided you live in the Dayton / Cincinnati areas). We have a goal of reaching those who are typically uninvited to church. We really want to transform our region with the Gospel. Obviously, I will keep you all updated as we progress through the interviews and assessments. If you are interested in joining hands with us, email me (thisisdonsemail [a] gmail [dot] com) or leave a comment and I will be in touch. If you wish to pray for us, please, feel free. We appreciate it.
Thanks again.

Don, I will be praying for you all. I mean it. I've put up a reminder.
Will you keep me updated?
Thanks Daniel. You have been such and encouragement since I found you on Twitter and with your website.
Thanks again.
