Who Knew?
Things are crawling along here, slowly but surely.
I have good news, and I have bad news. The good news is, my new web host (bluehost.com) rocks. They have been superior to “the ones we do not speak of” in every way.
The bad news is this, almost everything from the past is lost forever. I think I have some old posts, but most are ones I didn’t really care about. I still have the transcripts from all of my interviews, and I will get them back up shortly on their own page. I have a lot left to restore still (my wife’s site which has suffered too much because of my screw ups, and now “the ones who we do not speak of” screw ups) and hope to have things rolling here really soon.
What does this mean for the future of this site?
Well, as you may know, I tried to re-direct this sites purpose last November by making it a site where people could go to be inspired to do ministry. Things were going really well with my connections and articles. I was seeing an upswing in visitors and having a good time. But I feel like God has brought me back down to earth.
I still want to inspire people to go and do ministry, but instead of all the glitz and glamor I was aiming for, I am going a little more low-key. I will instead be writing out of my own personal experiences instead of aiming for the big stuff that I really had little or no part in anyway.
For example…
When I reviewed a book in the past, it was because it was sent to me by a publisher. And while I am exceedingly great full for the free books, I can state for a fact that one of them I would have never read unless it was given to me for free, and even then I had to choke it down.
As for the interviews, I had a lot of fun with those. How many people can say they have interviewed their favorite recording artist? I will keep doing those but with a little less frequency.
Tech stuff? You bet. I will be talking nerd stuff because that is part of me. Just ask my poor wife.
Church Stuff. Yes. As a pastor of a small church in Southern Ohio, I will be talking a lot about what goes on there, my experiences in building disciples, and even re-examining points I talked about the prior Sunday.
So yea, another reboot.
Yup.

What happened?
Hey all, godaddy, my old web host really nailed me, so I left them and started hosting with the awesomeness that is Bluehost (.com) They have been tons better. I just have to re-load some of my old content. Stay tuned and come back soon.
If you would like to know when I am back up, leave me a comment and I will send you an email.
